Imagine a co-op where all participants get “paid” for doing what they love and sharing it in a balanced and compassionate way with the world!! Where membership comes not from dues, but from living your heart’s calling, and sharing it with the world in a balanced, heart-filled way. Where the product is love, support, consciousness, mentorship and mentoring, conscious consumer products and services, local, regional and global networking, personal growth, relational growth, team building, community involvement, partnership, and much more; that contributes to the well-being of the world, the self, and the communities that connect the two. So how does one build a coop that reaches world-wide and actually manifests in physical reality?

The Basics – Global Co-Existence in a Co-op 101 The Global Coexistence Coop (GCC), starting in Tucson, Arizona, and then spreading organically to locations world-wide, will model the first system EVER of this sort!!! It will link together individuals, communities, organizations, companies, industries, institutions, and even nation-states in a web of mutually encouraging and beneficial "self-empowerment" that leads to coexistence and communal/global harmony. How does this happen, one might ask? Well, the concept is simple. Let's say, for example, you did work (paid or volunteer) that helped to make the world a better place. By simply doing this – what you might already have done of your own accord (followed your life’s passion and contributed it to the world compassionately) - you would get Planet Coexister points that would in turn allow you to get discounts at companies that become Planet Coexisting stores, companies, massage therapists, doctors, retreat centers, etc. Restated, by doing service contributing to the well-being of the planet, membership is offered that would afford you discounts at Planet Coexisting Agents (PCAs) world-wide. In addition, organizations would qualify as PCAs, and upon approval, would then qualify for volunteers who could then get points for their volunteer service with their organization. This would support the growth of not-for-profit efforts world-wide and encourage individuals to get out there and make a difference in a way that supports their life as well. Imagine getting discounts at stores simply for doing work in the world that contributes to both to your wholeness AND that of the world’s. And the circle continues. Everyone helps out and everyone wins! The GCC makes the pay it forward concept APPARENT, and with a system that allows it to spread exponentially!!! Government systems would eventually give incentives to people, organizations and companies that qualify as Planet Coexisters... the possibilities are endless. Ready to join? Taking Out the “Right” & “Wrong” – Moving to a System of Mutual Encouragement We could argue forever about what is considered “good” or “bad” – what contributes to society. Religions and social organizations, nation-states and companies, and other social mediums, might suggest that living “this” way or “that” way will bring world peace and harmony, etc. Planet Coexist and the Global Coexistence Co-op cuts through the polarity perception that divides us into us and them, and invites people to join in a different, more tangible, principle to guide us. The GCC is built upon the premise that we're encouraging people, not all to a "global" standard, but to a place where they are actualizing their dreams, callings, passions, etc. in a sustainable, directed toward coexistence, way. Rumi stated, “There’s a field beyond right and wrong. I’ll meet you there.” We’re taking us to that field. One of the basic principles of Planet Coexist can be explained in a quote from Howard Thurman: "Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what brings you alive and go do it! Because what the world needs is people who have come alive!" At the end of the day, we don't know what's right and wrong for the planet, but we DO know what brings us ALIVE, and we believe that if we encourage enough people toward that end, the greater body of humanity and the world will follow suit and create a world ALIVE! A world that lives it's passion in harmony and coexistence with one another. For, we believe, that in finding our own true passions, and knowing what that feels like, the natural outcropping of that is to want it for others. And in that, we join an apparent web of mutual support and love, encouraging us to our greatness. This is the premise of this organization, and this co-op. It all starts from there and blossoms into infinite possibility. Ready to join and bring the world alive??? Ready to join and bring yourself alive??? Come join the excitement. Join the movement. We ARE the ones we’ve been waiting for.

A Step Further – A Look at the Steps Toward Becoming a Planet Coexisting Agent So how do companies, organizations, nation-states, etc. become Planet Coexisting Agents? The process of accrediting companies and organizations, etc. as Planet Coexisting Agents is simple. Each company, organization, community group, etc. will apply for PCA status and will go through an application, and in some cases interview process. Some will qualify right away; others will have to create contracts of commitment. The process will be determined by a set of guidelines that we would collaboratively create that reflect our sense of what it means to "coexist" in the world. Again, this is not coming from a place of “right” and “wrong”, but simply from a place of an organization, and the community that co-develops it, focusing on what fosters a common bond towards unity and coexistence, world-wide and at home. It’s more of an on-going study, than a static, rigid law of what is collaborating in our co-labor-ation toward harmony and peace. In this context, “standards” is another way of saying, “what is comfortable for the organizing agent to engage in, what feels and seems like a healing relationship for us at the GCC, the agent applying, and the world. The GCC can be petitioned by any individual, group, or entity world-wide that feels our standards are not fully meeting our intention of encouraging a world to its own greatness. This creates an open forum and keeps the dialogue open to ALL its coop members and applicants. These guidelines will be posted on-line and organizations, companies, groups, etc. will have postings and evaluations on their Planet Coexist Community Home Page to show their practices and “products”, the commitments they've made, the progress they've made – according to their own set (often in collaborative, Planet Coexist assisted, intention sessions) goals, and their future desired goals, etc. This will serve both to educate and to encourage people world-wide to think of all the many ways we can help make the world a "better place". As mentioned before, there are two ways to qualify as PCAs. 1) Is to meet or surpass a certain percentage, via our Ethics Committee standards of what "it takes" to coexist on this planet. 2) If a group or company does not meet the standard, they can become a PCA by committing to certain goals to be completed in a certain time-frame. These would be official contracts made between the companies, organizations, etc. and Planet Coexist, with legal and social ramifications. They would have certain agreed upon penalties for not meeting certain commitments, unless waived by a review committee. What the second option allows is for EVERYONE to participate, regardless of our "standards". This allows US to COEXIST with the world and not come from a place of "right" and "wrong", but common agreements of intention and healing. So, if a company that doesn’t meet the standards we’ve set out as a community of folks focusing on community and planetary coexistence wanted to become a PCA, that could be possible if the Ethics PCA Committee and this company came to a common agreement and contract on what they would need to do during a set period of time to maintain that status. In both cases, automatic qualification or contract based, to remain a PCA, the company, group or organization would have to make commitments for a set time period by which they would work on "improving" their niche of the world, whether as "inside" work or "outside" work. This could be anything from working on their employee relationships and benefits, to their green standards, to the amount of health and wellness they include in their employee or building infrastructure, or the amount they donate to the community, etc. There are ALWAYS more ways to improve, and it will be through that commitment that membership remains. This encourages people to do their work... their play... and to keep it "paying forward". The same is true for individual memberships/statuses - people need to do their work in "coexisting" to stay on board. That is how people pay their dues as a part of this global co-existing coop!

Website Component Beyond the perks that have already been mentioned, around the flow of support amidst the Planet Coexisting Agents and Coexisters, once someone, or some entity becomes a member, they would get a page on the Planet Coexist community membership page and would get certain privileges and services that come along with that - ie. posting what they are doing socially, contribution wise AND what they would want mentorship under. This would allow people to be paired, or grouped, on line in mentor/mentee relationships and then mentors, or organizations, could get points for this mentoring. And EVERYONE wins! And of course, as a nice by-product, this pairing, grouping and clustering brings people around the world closer together... through simply doing what they love from a place and spirit of community AND self service. In addition, to making sure that people, organizations, etc. remain balanced through this process, people will have "balancing/harmonizing" programs on their site showing where they are balanced in their life and where they could use help. Thus, the site will be geared not only toward connecting people world-wide and encouraging social service, but toward teaching and encouraging people and GCAs toward coexisting within their own "world" (personal development) as well. And from there, people would then have access to how they could improve that within the network they are a part of! Again, the possibilities are endless. People could even get points for self care, couples counseling, self-care workshops, social activism conferences, etc. It's basically a club that's encouraging people to focus on their passions, actualizing them, and sharing them with the world in a way that benefits themselves and others. Who wouldn't want to join??? And this is just the beginning!!! The dialogue and co-creating of this project has just begun. Come and join the revolution… the evolution!!!

Balance & Harmony As mentioned in the previous paragraph, the system will always be encouraging individuals and entities toward developing in a sustainable way, balancing and harmonizing between inner and outer activism. Someone's points would cap if they were not balancing their outer activism with self-care AND vice versa. This of course is an intricate system that will be explained further in other information materials. In addition to having the black and white labeling of "self-care" & "community-care", there will be a color coding system, in a system we choose, similar to the five elements of Chinese Medical Theory, that assists people and GCAs in balancing and harmonizing their lives. A pie graph would be created on their page from the inputting of their activities and such, and from there referrals/links to each type of "care", according to the color codes, would bring people and GCAs to the "medicine" they need. This would link everything from mentors, mentees, companies, organizations, etc. that "advertise" as offering what is "needed". So, in this way, the GCC manifests in tangible reality what truly is a WORLD-WIDE WEB!!! :) Are you ready???
