Join
Planet Coexist for their first ever Coexist-Antz Responsibility Extravaganza
(C.A.R.E.), beginning at sundown Friday, February 17th in the magical
desert of Tanque Verde Falls. We come together to explore the opportunity

Friday, February 17th: Opening Ceremonies & Community Creative Share
Join us at sunset for opening ceremonies with
your favorite musical or healing instrument for an improvisational, cooperative
welcoming as we fill the canyon with our intention for a weekend of
cooperation, and personal and collective responsibility building. Following
the ceremony we will gather for people to share their talents for and with
the community. We invite people to bring everything from musical talent,
voice, spoken word, poetry, fire-dancing, juggling, art work or any other
performance heARTs content! We will have both performance space and collective
jam fires! Expect to get showered with love and potent creative expression.
Revolutions are what we make it - they can be a blast! Please feel
free to join us in camping throughout the weekend. If you would like to
sign up for performance space, please contact
us anytime.
Food:
Meals for the entire gathering will be provided collectively.
Times are posted on within the text of the Event Description and in
the Event Schedule. We ask that people bring organic foods and drinks
only.
Saturday, February 18th: Day of Learning
Join us for a day of learning, beginning at sunrise... ending at sunset, where free courses and classes will be provided by community members (local & national) in topics ranging from yoga and exploring consciousnesss to Community Organizing and Non-Violent Communication. Please look at the complete list of classes to see all the juicy and inspiring offerings. The variety ranges on the individuals and collectives in the community who choose to step up and take responsibility as a bearer and sharer of knowledge. Anyone interested in volunteering their time for a class, please contact our office anytime.
To promote experiential learning and to allow for a more holistic educational experience, we are also asking that individuals offering from a full spectrum of mind-body-spirit care (this encompasses services, such as physical & energetic body workers, Shamanic guides, NLP, emotional process groups, etc.) come and offer their gifts as support to the community to help ease the process of our collective journey.
Classes will run all day, breaking for lunch at 11am-1pm, and complete at sunset with an evening festival of good food, fun times and unwinding from a day of fullness!
Sunday,
February 19th: Day of Ceremony
Ceremonial Preparation
Projects of Service:
Starting with the first hint of dawn - 5am, we will begin projects of service, to prepare ourselves and the land for the afternoon ceremony.Ceremonies of Preparation:
At 8am, we will have three separate community sweat lodges (female, male & mixed), running for four 15 minute cycles, where we will enter into a collective intention of resolving personal/collective blocks by using the element of fire. At 9:30am, we will go to the pools and cool the fires with the water of letting go, appreciation and renewal, through a water immersion ceremony.
Journeys of Passage – Three Parts
Ceremonies of Commitment & Responsibility:
At 12pm - noon - the three-part responsibility ceremony begins with a half-hour time for inner or collective reflection, in a non-organized fashion. From 12:30-2:30pm collectives from the larger community will have time to enter into responsibility ceremonies, in designated spaces throughout the canyon. This can come in the form of a spiritual, religious, political, social, etc. group that would like to hold their own particular form of ceremony for this type of intention. From 3pm to sunset, the ceremony space will culminate with a large community ceremony where everyone is asked to join. Both individuals and collectives will have the opportunity to co-create commitment/responsibility ceremonies for themselves, in front of the entire community. Ceremonies can be everything from someone committing to recycle for the entire next year, to companies committing to embrace better workers' policies, to individuals committing to dedicating the rest of their life to service to the whole! The community collective makes the space, the individual and collective wills brings the life into our lives. If you would like to organize a group ceremony or be a part of the final communal ceremony please contact our office.
Following the ceremony, ending at sunset, we will conclude with a spectacular final celebration of good food, music and enjoyment - again, our contributions make the evening, so please bring organic food, drink and festivities. Please feel free to join us for a final evening of camping before returning to the week!

Volunteers,
Contributions & Accommodations:
The CARE Gathering has no entrance fee - which truly
allows EVERYONE from the community to attend and build our world as one,
however the quality depends on the contributions of responsibility given
by those involved. To make this event a success, we need people to volunteer
their resources in whatever way they can. We embrace the model of a wholistic
cooperative economy, where we ask individuals to give only what enhances
their life and allows it to become more whole - gift come in all forms:
donation of services, products, monetary contributions, time, etc. Posted
on the website (www.planetcoexist.com) will be a list of ways to contribute
energy to this extravaganza.
In addition, we request that if you intend to join us for overnight camping that you contact our office and provide us with the dates you plan on joining us, number people joining, and any particular needs you might have so we can help make accommodations for you in the canyon and keep a healthy working relationship with the forest service. There will be a cut off on the number of people that can camp each evening. Part of the intention for the gathering is the practice of compassionate ethics - walking mindful on this planet, to not only coexist with other human beings, but all our cohabitating creatures.
