Biography Planet Coexist
Web and Graphic Design

Tomas joined the Planet Coexist web development team in August of 2007. His personal mission is to create and support projects that are synergistically in line with his mission to raise the vibration/consciousness of humanity to a more harmonious level. He believes that a massive shift in human consciousness is not only possible for the near future, but absolutely necessary. In a recent late night conversation with a close friend he stated "It's time for us to grow up as a species. Throughout our entire history we've been collectively acting out the role of an selfish, angsty and cynical teenager who is desperate for attention as if there isn't enough food, love and affection to go around. Instead, we need to morph our society into a more respectable and self-confident 30 something adult who acts with conscious intent to achieve our collective goals. Since our leaders have lacked the vision and wisdom necessary to facilitate this transition into a peaceful future, and since we can no longer afford to wait for them to figure it out, it's time for us to take action and create the future that we deserve." For this to happen he believes we all must accept personal responsibility and choose in every moment to live, think, and act in ways that promote peace, harmony, and a sustainable human future that respects all life as well as Gaia herself.

While Tomas does not belong to any one particular faith, he enjoys learning about all belief systems, and is always expanding his knowledge of the divine and deepening his perspective of reality. His personal spiritual pracitice emphasizes a direct connection to the source of creation, and includes yoga, Buddhist meditation, ecstatic dance, and shamanic drumming meditation. He is particularly fascinated by the indigenous shamanic healing techniques of the Mayan, Shipibo, and Incan cultures. Thus his most immediate dream is to travel to Peru to visit the majestic mountains of Machu Pichu and experience directly the energy and spirits of the rainforest.

Tomas considers himself an eco-entreprenuer - one who seeks out ways to earn a living that promotes the core values of respect and sustainability. His current passion is promoting the products of Amazon Herb Company. The Amazon Herb Company works in partnership with over 14 indigenous tribes in Peru to sustainably wild harvest the amazing healing botanicals of the Amazon Rainforest. This new economic model provides the indigenous people of the Amazon new choices and a sustainable future which preserves both their land and their way of life. Tomas's role is to simply share this incredible story with others and connect with those who choose to accept the gifts of optimal health and well-being that the Amazon Herb products can facilitate. The Amazon Herb Company and Planet Coexist have partnered in such a way that commissions from any Planet Coexist member's purchase will flow directly back to Planet Coexist to help fund the organization. In August of 2007 Mike Adams, the self proclaimed Health Ranger of www.newstarget.com, wrote an excellent article about the Amazon Herb Company. Mike is a highly respected independent researcher and is considered expert in the realms of health and nutrition. Mike is doing a tremendous service to the world by helping to educate us on these very important issues.

Tomas is also a musician of the rhythmic variety. In the last four years he's studied West African Percussion in Tucson with Martin Klabunde of the Dambe Drum Ensemble and has taught Youth and Adult Jembe classes as part of the Dambe Project, a non-profit organization whose purpose to stengthen community bonds as well as teach social and cultural values through the vehicle of West African Music, Song, and Dance. Tomas is also a proficient Drum set player and is always open to connecting with other like-minded musicians who are also seeking ways to more fully express their creative passions. His major musical influences include such artists as Tool, A Perfect Circle, Bjork, Radiohead, Ani Difranco, The Postal Service, Aphex Twin, The Mars Volta, Krishna Das, Sigur Ros, Rush, The Police, and as well as local artists Music Video, Chango Malo, American Andriod, and Ryanhood

Tomas enjoys writing about himself in the third person. It seems to stimulate his pineal gland, thus inducing spontaneous visionary states of consciousness. He also has a Myspace Page, which incidently upon viewing may also induce such a visionary state. You have been warned... please procede with care.
